DS, two onionskin pages, 8.5 x 11, February 15, 1963. Amendment to an earlier agreement between Tracy and Columbia Pictures concerning Tracy’s role and payment for The Devil at Four O’Clock. In part: “reference is hereby made to the following…in which we employed you to render your services in the role of ‘Father Doonan’ in the motion picture The Devil at Four O’Clock…Paragraph 5 of the Amendment is hereby deleted and there is hereby substituted…a new paragrah…by payment in consecutive monthly installments of not more than Ten Thousand ($10000) Dollars per month…and continuing until Contingent Compensation in the cumulative sum of Eighty-two Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-four Dollars…shall have been paid.” Signed on the second page by Tracy. Punch holes and a staple to top edge and scattered wrinkling and creasing, otherwise fine condition.
